I haven’t written much here lately. So, how have my last few weeks in Wellington been? Excellent, really.

The weekend before last, I went skiing with the Chris Ben circus. I drove up and back with Alek and Nicky, and although the weekend involved no actual snowboarding, we still got some adrenaline from an 80m bungee at Mokai on the way back. There was also a significant amount of drinking and poker, so it was a great trip.

Last weekend, I chaired AIESEC’s NZLDS 06 at Silverstream here in Wellington. It was as awesome as conferences ever were. It was a pleasure to see delegates learning and having fun, and a delivery team giving their best. The theme was “Beyond Limits”, and I certainly felt I was beyond mine at times. It’s amazing how it can be so extending, but it’s really harder to do than many things in working life. There are high expectations and a lot at stake.

Still, there are only 4 days until I leave. Theoretically, I’m quite excited.

This site had a bit of a breakdown for a few days, but I had it restored to backup.

Update on Drinks: Thursday 28th in Wellington at Jet on Courtney Place.

I must remember to email about this, but meanwhile…

• Wellingtonians: I’ll have some leaving drinks somewhere on the evening of Thursday 28th September
• Aucklanders: I’ll be having a lunch on Friday 29th at a place called “The Don” in the Canterbury Arcade (off High and Queen Sts)
• Waipu-ians: See you all from Friday evening through to Sunday evening
• San Franciscans: If I knew any of you, I’d say “See you Sunday 1st!”

It’s September 1st, and I’m leaving NZ on October 1st (fingers crossed, fate not tempted, etc). I guess I’m getting a bit excited, but mostly I’m thinking about the various things I need to sort out and how I can fit that around as much snowboarding as possible.
